* The DataMaster CDM in use in Iowa from 1999 until 2011 was capable of limited data collection. This section of the website allows users to view the approximate number of tests and the average alcohol concentration of the subject for each county from 2002–2010.

This data is limited to the DataMaster CDM only. Please note, that the data may not be complete. The DataMaster CDM was capable of only holding approximately 175 tests at a time and there were situations that the memory was full and would no longer store tests until it was downloaded. Also, data may have been lost, never stored or cleared from memory prior to a download taking place.

The statistical data includes several subject tests that may have been performed by officers as "practice" and suspects that may have been impaired by substances other than alcohol therefore resulting in a zero breath alcohol result. Eliminating any test that was below 0.010 g/210 L, the statewide average over the past decade has been around 0.147 g/210 L.
